What can I say about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I have to say it was the best sci-fi sequel I've seen this year. It's as good as The Force Awakens. It reminded me a little bit of The Empire Strikes Back. The film has its moments. It was funny as times and it was intense as times but that's the way a sci-fi film should be. A great tribute to the late Carrie Fisher. It was great to see Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) back in action. I give it 4 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend it to anyone especially Star Wars fans.

Beauty and the Beast- This live-action version of the 1991 Disney animated clasaic had raked in $174 million in its opening weekend and went on to become the biggest Spring release of all time and the biggest film of the year by ending off at $504 million. Soon Star Wars: The Last Jedi will surpass it by the end of the year.

Wonder Woman- The fourth film in the DC Entertainment Universe had became the biggest movie of the summer by raking in $103 million in its opening weekend and went on to gross $412 million making it the highest grossing superhero film of the year and the highest grossing film by a female director.

It- This visually stunning and gory adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel became the biggest horror movie of all time and the highest grossing Fall release of all time. It raked in $123 million in its opening weekend and grossed $328 million.

Thor: Ragnarok- I wasn't expecting this Marvel comic book film to rake in $122 million in its opening weekend and gross $302 million so far but it did. It beat out Justice League in the same month.

Dunkirk- This critically acclaimed war drama opened at $50 million in its opening weekend and went to gross at least $188 million which is almost close to Christopher Nolan's last film Interstellar.

Get Out- This horror comedy directed by Jordan Peele had raked in $34 million in its opening weekend and went on to gross $175 million making the second highest grossing film by an African-American director in history.

Hidden Figures- This inspiring real life drama opened in limited release on Christmas Day 2016 and expanded nationwide in early January of this year. It opened at $22 million in its first weekend and grossed a surprising $169 million.

Girls Trip- This R-rated comedy chick flick with an all-black female cast opened up at $31 million in its opening weekend and went on to gross $115 million beating last year's R-rated chick flick comedy Bad Moms.

Baby Driver- This action-packed crime caper raked in $28 million in its first five days of release and went on to gross $107 million making it director Edgar Wright's highest grossing film of all time.

Wonder- This heartwarming and inspiring family film wasn't expected to do well at the box office but it did. It opened at $27 million and went on to gross over $100 million so far. In my opinion, Wonder is the new Blind Side.

Just got done watching Coco and it was funny, inspiring and heartwarming. Not bad for a Pixar movie. The best Pixar film since Toy Story 3 and WALL-E. Hands down the best animated film of the year. Michael Giacchino's score fits for the perfectly for the film. This animated film has a visual taste. I was blown away and touched at the same here. The film was great from beginning to end. I would highly recommend it anyone. I give it 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap!

Recently I watched the chick flick sequel A Bad Moms Christmas and it was very funny. Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn are back as America's naughtiest moms and this time they deal with their own moms (Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines and Susan Sarandon). This one is as funny as the original. The best R-rated chick flick I've seen this year since Girls Trip. I would recommend it to anyone.
