Last night I watched the dramatic comedy Please Stand By and it was hilarious, heartwarming and inspiring. The movie is about a young woman with Autism (played by Dakota Fanning) who leaves her group home to go to Hollywood to enter a Star Trek script-writing contest. Dakota Fanning gives a wonderful performance in this film. This film is also stars Toni Collette and Alice Eve. This is the kind of movie that will make you follow your dreams. This is a great indie film to watch. I give it 3 and a half out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this one to anyone. If you haven't seen this movie yet, I advise you to do so. I loved it and so will you.

Watching the action adventure film The Meg and it's very action-packed, intense, bloody and scary. Jason Statham did his thing in this one playing the hero. He's most likely to become the next Richard Dreyfuss with attitude. The special effects in this film are amazing. It's Jurassic Park meets Jaws meets Titanic. Very suspenseful and a little bit funny at times. I give this one 3 and a half out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this one to anyone.
