Just finished watching the western tale The Ballad of Buster Scruggs and it was amazing, well acted and powerful. It was funny and dramatic at the same time. The Coen Brothers have done it again. This happens to be their best movie since No Country for Old Men and The Big Lebowski. Best western movie I've seen in years since Django Unchained. The cinematography was brilliant and vibrant in this one. Visually stunning at times. I give it 4 and a half out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Just came from seeing the animated sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet and it was funny, heartwarming and visually stunning. Just as good as the first one but only better. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman reprise their voiceover roles as Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope. Taraji P. Henson killed it as the Yesss Queen which happens to be the most good-looking character in the film. Watching this movie was like taking a tour through the Internet. It was fun to watch as well. Best animated film I've seen this year since Incredibles 2. I give it 5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this film to anyone especially fans of the first Wreck-It Ralph movie.

Just watched the Netflix holiday film The Christmas Chronicles and it was very funny, magical and heartwarming. Kurt Russell made a great Santa in this film. Great special effects. Best Christmas movie I've seen this year. I give it 3 and a half stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this one to anyone especially Kurt Russell fans.

Watching the real life crime drama White Boy Rick and it's powerful and provocative. Newcomer Richie Merritt gives a breakout performance as the title character. Matthew Mcconaughey gives one of his greatest performances since Dallas Buyers Club. It's Goodfellas meets Boyz N The Hood. I give 3 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would recommend this film to anyone.

Watching the drama The Hate U Give and it's very emotional, inspiring, powerful and true to life. Amandla Steinberg gives a powerful performance in this film. Very heartbreaking and gut-wrenching. So Oscar-worthy in many years. When I watch this movie, I think of Trayvon Martin and the other young black men who were murdered in the past. This film deals with a lot about racism in a typical way. This film is about standing up for what you believe in. I give it 5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

Just watched the musical biopic Bohemian Rhapsody and it was mind-blowing, powerful and dramatic. Rami Malek gives a breakout Oscar-worthy performance as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. The songs and the music film were amazing. Director Bryan Singer did a great job directing this one and it's his best film since X-Men. The best musical biopic I've seen since Walk the Line and Straight Outta Compton. I give it 5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this one to anyone especially hardcore Queen fans.

Just watched the comedy Night School and it was hilarious and outrageously funny. It was fun seeing Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish teaming up for the first time which was great. One of the funniest comedies I've seen this year. The film had its moments. Tiffany Haddish was at her funniest since Girls Trip and Kevin Hart was more funnier in this one. In my opinion, this is the funniest classroom comedy I've seen in years. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. I would highly recommend this one to anyone especially fans of Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish.

Just watched the musical drama A Star is Born and it was powerful, emotional and heartwarming. Bradley Cooper did a great job making his directorial debut. Lady Gaga was brilliant in this film. Cooper and Gaga both delivered Oscar-worthy performances. The songs in this film are amazing. Very Oscar-worthy film. I give it 5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
