The Mule was a great film to watch. It was powerful, moving and dramatic. Clint Eastwood did his thing once again by acting and directing this film. His best film since American Sniper and Gran Torino. It's a true story about a 90-year-old man who transports cocaine through Illnois for a Mexican drug cartel and gets caught later on. I really enjoyed watching this movie and I give it 3 and a half stars. If you loved Gran Torino and Traffic, you'll love The Mule. This movie is highly recommended and it's definitely worth the watch.

Green Book was a great movie. It was inspiring, heartwarming and often hilarious. It's the story of an Italian-American bouncer who drives a successful black musician across the country in 1962. It was inspired by a true story. Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali were brilliant in the film. It reminds me of The Help but from a male's point of view. It was one of the best movies I've seen this year. This film is Oscar-worthy in so many ways. There were moments that made me laugh and moments that touched my heart. Peter Farrelly did a great job directing this movie. I absolutely give it 5 stars. If you're watching a great friendship movie this year, make it Green Book. It'll be worth the watch and worth the time. Highly recommended.

To me, Hereditary was the most bizarre and scariest movie I've seen this year. It started off boring as first but it got a lot interesting later in the film. Toni Collette was great in that film. This movie is way better than Mother. There were some scenes that had me going WTF and OMG and those were the very scary parts in the film. I really hated the ending. The ending of the film was so confusing and misunderstood. I'm gonna have to give it 2 and a half stars. Don't get me wrong. Hereditary is a very scary thriller but if you watch this movie, please don't watch it with the lights off. Once you watch it, you'll never forget it.

Bird Box is the most unusual and strangest movie I've seen this year. In this movie, a group of strangers who must do anything to survive when an invisible killer is on the loose causing a worldwide apocalypse. To me, this movie is so creepy, suspenseful and mostly predictable. This movie has its frightening and often funny moments. Sandra Bullock gives a brilliant performance in the film. One of her most exceptional roles in her career. John Malkovich's character was the most arrogant in the film. Reminds me a lot of I Am Legend. This is more like A Quiet Place but only scarier and more violent. This movie is a little okay but not one of the best movies of the year. To be honest, I give it 2 and a half out of 5 stars. Please watch Bird Box at your own risk because it's very scary and disturbing but it's worth it.

Creed II is the most powerful and exciting sports drama of the year. Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone reprise their roles in this sequel to the 2015 film. This time Adonis Creed, trained by Rocky Balboa, go to Russia to fight Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren). I gotta say that this one is not as great as the first film but it has its powerful and emotional moments. Michael B. Jordan's reprisal performance as boxer Adonis Creed was great as the original. The reunion between Stallone and Lundgren's characters was amazing. Watching this sequel was like watching Rocky IV all over again. Personally I give it 3 out of 5 stars. If you're looking for a great boxing movie this year, make it Creed II. I definitely recommend it and it's worth the time.

What can I say about Mary Poppins Returns? It was the most visually stunning musical movie I've seen this year. In this hilarious and heartwarming sequel, we find Mary Poppins returning to London to help the now grown-up Michael and his family save their home from foreclosure. Emily Blunt gave an Oscar-worthy performance as the title character. A role once played by the legendary Julie Andrews. In my opinion, Julie Andrews made a better Mary Poppins than Emily Blunt because Blunt's character in the film was unconventional and less funny. A great blend of live-action and animation. The art direction and costumes were wonderfully colorful. This one reminds me of the original because of the music and the characters. This sequel was more like a remake or reboot of the 1964 original. The visual effects were dazzling and eye-popping. The cameos by Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury were very surprising. This is a great Oscar contender. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. In closing, I can tell you that Mary Poppins Returns is worth watching and highly recommend. The perfect holiday movie for the whole family.

Just finished watching the comedy Instant Family and it was hilarious and heartwarming. Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne were great as the loving foster parents in the movie. The film was also beautiful and inspiring. I have to say that this film mostly touched my heart and also made me laugh as well. This film has its special moments. I think the message that I learned from this movie is that family is forever. This is Mark Wahlberg's best comedy film since Ted and Daddy's Home. I give it 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. Just watched the sci-fi action prequel Bumblebee and it was mind-blowing, funny, heartwarming and action-packed. Great origin story to the Transformers movie franchise. Great performances by Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena. The special effects were spectacular. This one reminds me of the Transformers movie that was released 11 years ago. The '80s soundtrack in the film were awesome. Travis Knight did a great job directing this one. I give it 4 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. Last night I watched the action fantasy Aquaman and it was awesome, visually stunning and mind-blowing. Best DC Comics Universe film I've seen since Wonder Woman. It was great to see Jason Momoa back as the half-breed superhero. I gotta say that Amber Heard looked gorgeous as a redhead in this one. Oscar winner Nicole Kidman did her thing as Queen Alanna. Great special effects and the action was brilliant. The most original comic book movie I've seen this year since Black Panther. I give it 4 and a half out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. Just got done watching the movie Dumplin' on Netflix and it was funny and touching. Great performances by Danielle MacDonald and Jennifer Aniston. The film delivered a wonderful message and it teaches you that no matter what size you are, you can do anything. The perfect chick flick to watch at home. I really loved it. Just came from the animated action adventure Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse and it was dazzling, visually stunning and mind-blowing. It was also funny and heartwarming at times. The animation was picture perfect and crystal clear. It was like watching a moving comic book. I really loved the Miles Morales character a lot and the animated Peter Parker was a lot funnier than the live-action versions of Parker before him. Hands down the best animated action film I've seen this year since Incredibles 2. I give it 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. As a huge Spider-Man fan, I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

Last night I watched the new Grinch movie and it was funny and heartwarming. The funniest animated holiday movie I've seen in years. It's not as good as the live-action version but it was okay. Benedict Cumberbatch did a swell job voicing the Grinch. Pharrell Williams did an awesome job narrating the story which made the movie more hip. I really enjoyed it. This is Illumination's funniest film since Despicable Me and The Lorax. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. I would highly recommend it to anyone especially Dr. Seuss' fans.

Just came from seeing the animated sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet and it was funny, heartwarming and visually stunning. Just as good as the first one but only better. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman reprise their voiceover roles as Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope. Taraji P. Henson killed it as the Yesss Queen which happens to be the most good-looking character in the film. Watching this movie was like taking a tour through the Internet. It was fun to watch as well. Best animated film I've seen this year since Incredibles 2. I give it 5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. Watching the drama The Hate U Give and it's very emotional, inspiring, powerful and true to life. Amandla Steinberg gives a powerful performance in this film. Very heartbreaking and gut-wrenching. So Oscar-worthy in many years. When I watch this movie, I think of Trayvon Martin and the other young black men who were murdered in the past. Just watched the comedy Night School and it was hilarious and outrageously funny. It was fun seeing Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish teaming up for the first time which was great. One of the funniest comedies I've seen this year. The film had its moments. Tiffany Haddish was at her funniest since Girls Trip and Kevin Hart was more funnier in this one. Just came from the new Halloween movie and it was mind-blowing, scary and suspenseful. It was so good to see Jamie Lee Curtis back as Laurie Strode, the role that made her famous. In my opinion, this was more like a sequel than a reboot. This one was better than the 2007 Rob Zombie version. It was like the 1978 original film but only gorier and scarier. Watching the romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians and it is laugh-out-loud funny, stylish and heartwarming. Great performances by Constance Wu, Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh. In my opinion, it's the asian version of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The best romantic comedy I've seen this year. Very enjoyable and worth watching. Watching the action film Venom and I can tell you that it's okay. Not one of the best movies of the year but worth watching. Tom Hardy is as his best since The Dark Knight Rises. Watching the new Predator movie and it's absolute garbage. Not as good as the original. May be funny at a few times but the action doesn't amount to the previous Predator movies. Watching this movie is like watching a trainwreck. The only good thing about this movie is the visual effects. Plays more like a sci-fi comedy than an action horror film. Watching the action sequel Mission: Impossible- Fallout and it's very intense, breathtaking and action-packed. Tom Cruise reprises his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt. The stunts and the special effects in this movie are great in this one. Better than the last Mission: Impossible movie. So visually stunning and Oscar-worthy. Earlier I watched the movie BlacKkKlansman and it was intense, moving, funny and provocative. The best Spike Lee film since Do the Right Thing. John David Washington and Adam Driver both gave Oscar-worthy performances in this film. Director Spike Lee knocks it out of the ballpark with this one. Very exceptional movie. My first choice to be nominated for the Oscar for Best Picture. The script was well written. The film teaches a lot about the ups and downs of racism then and now. Simply the best film of the year. Watching the basketball comedy Uncle Drew and it's hilarious and good so far. NBA star Kyrie Irving is mad hilarious as the title character. He did a great job playing the character. El Rel Howery, Shaquille O'Neal, Tiffany Haddish and Nick Kroll were also great in this film. This is the funniest sports comedy I've seen this year. Great characters make this one worth watching. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this anyone who could use a laugh.

It was Ben Affleck's directorial debut and it starred Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris and Amy Ryan. This film was suspenseful, provocative, heartbreaking and full of surprises. Amy Ryan gave a wonderful Oscar-nominated performance as the mother of the missing little girl. One of the best mystery thrillers I've seen in years. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I highly recommend this movie to those who haven't seen it yet.

The movie is about a young woman with Autism (played by Dakota Fanning) who leaves her group home to go to Hollywood to enter a Star Trek script-writing contest. Dakota Fanning gives a wonderful performance in this film. This film is also stars Toni Collette and Alice Eve. This is the kind of movie that will make you follow your dreams. This is a great indie film to watch. I give it 3 and a half out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend this one to anyone. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is one of the best movies I've seen in the Jurassic Park series. It was action-packed, funny and heart-pounding. More intense than the original. Visually stunning. It was great to see Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard back in action again. Those two are the perfect on-screen couple. It's as good as the first Jurassic World movie. Yesterday I watched the inspirational drama I Can Only Imagine and it was very sad, heartwarming and inspiring. It was the best Christian movie I've seen War Room and Heaven is for Real. Dennis Quaid gave an astounding performance as Bart Millard's abusive father in the film. Very Oscar-worthy. J. Michael Finley's performance as Bart, the man who wrote the song, is true-to-life and inspiring. I gotta say that movie touched my heart and had me felt inspired to follow my dream. I recently checked out Solo: A Star Wars Story and it was a better prequel than Rogue One. Alden Ehrenreich did a great job playing a young Han Solo. Donald Glover was excellent as a young Lando Calrissian. Woody Harrelson was also excellent as well. Great action, wonderful special effects and amazing original score by John Powell. Ron Howard did a great job directing this one. I give it 3 and a half stars out of 5 stars. I would highly recommend it to any Star Wars fans.

Avengers: Infinity War is the coolest and exciting Marvel movie in years. Visually stunning, hysterical and action-packed. The best superhero mashup I've seen in years. It's so cool to see Iron Man, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, The Hulk and Doctor Strange together for the first time in one big movie. I have to say that this one is the best Marvel film since Black Panther and The Avengers. Josh Brolin is great as the villain as Thanos. Watching this takes me back to the first Avengers movie in a wonderful way because of the characters and Alan Silvestri's outstanding musical score. Great cast, dazzling special effects and groundbreaking cinematography. For this one, I'm giving it an outstanding 5 out of 5 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. Recently I've watched two new movies. Those movies are the fashion drama Phantom Thread and the romantic thriller Tyler Perry's Acrimony. Phantom Thread was true-to-life, stylish and well acted. Daniel Day-Lewis gives one of his best performance of his career. This is director Paul Thomas Anderson's best film since Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood. Amazing costumes and supporting characters. Very weird and disturbing but brilliant. I give it 3 stars. I would highly recommend it to anyone. As for Tyler Perry's Acrimony, this was a very far from the usual Tyler Perry movie. Very predictable and shocking. Taraji P. Henson was at top of her game with this one. She killed it. Best Tyler Perry movie ever! I definitely give it 4 stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend it to both Tyler Perry and Taraji P. Henson fans.

Just came from the sci-fi fantasy film Ready Player One and it was lit. Visually stunning, imaginative and action-packed. It had a lot of 80s' references. It was like a moving video game to watch. It reminded me a lot of Avatar. Very surprising, inspiring and cool. Director Steven Spielberg hits it out of the ballpark with this one. His best film since E.T. and Jurassic Park. Alan Silvestri did a great job with the original score which fit perfectly for the film. I give this one 4 and a half stars, two thumbs up and a snap. I would highly recommend it to anyone especially Spielberg fans.
