This morning the Oscar nominations were announced and the list was very surprising. The Netflix foreign language film Roma and the dark historical comedy The Favourite both have 10 nominations. The blockbuster musical drama A Star is Born and the presidential biopic Vice both have 8 nominations. This year's biggest blockbuster Black Panther have 7 nominations. Spike Lee's real-life dramedy BlacKkKlansman have 6 nominations. The comedy/drama Green Book and the blockbuster musical biopic Bohemian Rhapsody both have 5 nominations. The films that are nominated for Visual Effects are: Avengers: Infinity War, Christopher Robin, First Man, Ready Player One and Solo: A Star Wars Story. The films that are nominated for Animated Feature Film are Incredibles 2, Isle of Dogs, Mirai, Ralph Breaks the Internet and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
